What’s the grip like?
The OUTDOOR CONTACT rubber outsole, together with the 5 mm studs, provide solid grip on soft, wet or dry ground. The efficiency of these boots has been verified in the laboratory and in field tests, guaranteeing good stability, no matter what the surface.
Foot support
Thanks to its mid upper and two self-locking hooks, the lacing can be adjusted very precisely, thus strengthening ankle support. The leather insert positioned in the mid-foot area secures the foot.
Eco-design sits at the heart of our products
We design our products by reducing their environmental impact, from the design phase. This entails using recycled materials, PFC-free coatings, more water- and energy-conservative processes, such as the dope dyeing technique, which colours the fibre at source, thus reducing water consumption and polluting effluent.
How much it weighs
Weighing 985 g in UK size 9, they remain lightweight and dynamic, while still offering an excellent level of protection.
What is its waterproofing ability?
Thanks to their PFC-free waterproof lining, these boots keep your feet dry for up to six hours, even in damp conditions. The materials used for the upper are water-repellent and tests in the laboratory as well as field tests validate their waterproofing ability.
How to care for your boots
Leave your boots to air dry, without any source of heat. Remove dried mud using a hard cleaning brush, and treat stains with warm water. Regularly restore waterproofing with a suitable spray. Only store them away when they are completely dry.
Comfort and cushioning
Featuring a thick EVA foam midsole, they effectively absorb impact, while providing a lasting feeling of comfort, even over long distances. Perfect for staying comfortable even when the terrain becomes more demanding.
How durable are they out in the field?
Designed for uneven trails, these boots offer protection at the front with their rubber stone guard, at the back with their synthetic reinforcements, and they are reinforced by leather inserts in the most exposed areas. These elements make them more shock- and rub-resistant.
