Schmerbers measures the waterproofing ability of a fabric. The higher the number, the drier you stay. Our jacket displays 5,000mm H2O (Schmerbers): it can withstand the pressure exerted by a 5 m water column! What this actually means is that it protects you from rain at 60 L/m²/h for 1 hr.

3 simple methods to restore the water-repellent properties of your jacket:
- Tumble dry on a synthetic cycle for 15min
- Hairdryer: 2 blasts from 20 cm away
- Iron on a low setting without steam
