Cushioning: a matter of choosing the right components
The insole (made from SCF) is responsive. It minimises energy loss and helps you regain support thanks to the elasticity of the material.
The V-FOAM midsole is cushy and dynamic, with a bounce that makes for a more aerial game.
Alex Sarr, number 2 pick in the NBA 2024 draft, who co-developed the shoe with us, praised it for its excellent cushioning, but also for its grip, one of the major advantages of this model.
The grip of the Canaveral: grip to match
With the Canaveral 900, you get maximum grip to keep you on the move without slipping.
The outsole (made of CPU) gives you a fast kick-off, so you'll be quicker on your feet.
Greater resistance over time
The components chosen are hard-wearing, giving the Canaveral 900 greater durability over time.
A nylon plate has also been inserted between the midsole and the outsole to prevent the sole structure from deforming.
How heavy is the shoe?
385 g in size 9
What type of terrain are these shoes for?
All of them! Our shoes are tested and approved on different indoor surfaces, and on different types of outdoor ground.
We test grip at different levels of dust (in the laboratory and in real-life conditions), as well as resistance over time, particularly with abrasion from the floor.
Choosing your basketball shoes
When shopping for basketball shoes, you need to:
1- establish your level and how often you play
2- identify your main expectations based on your style of play: responsiveness and fast footwork or increased shock absorption for powerful support.
3- Pick the correct upper height: covered ankle or not?
What size to choose?
We recommend that you try the shoes before your first training session and go for your usual size for playing basketball.
There should be about 1 cm between your toe and the end of the shoe because your foot will tend to swell slightly as you exercise.
Finally, wear socks designed for basketball to limit rubbing in the areas that are subject to the most stress.
