Why wear cycling gloves?
It's essential to wear gloves when cycling. With their foam padding, these gloves absorb vibrations in the handlebars caused by the terrain. What's more, they protect your hands from Mother Nature (insects, lots of vegetation when mountain biking, etc.). The thumb is made from soft fabric that absorbs perspiration - perfect for wiping your brow.
How to choose the size
Measure the circumference of the palm of your hand.
This should be done with a tape measure*.
Pass it over the joints, between the back of the hand and the fingers.
The tape measure should pass over the top and bottom of the hand to make one full turn.
*If you do not have a tape measure, you can also use a piece of string, then a ruler.
Palm circumference (cm)
_ 15.9 - 16.9 = 8 years old
_ 16.9 - 17.8 = 10 years old
_ 17.8 - 18.6 = 12 years old
Easy to put on and take off
These gloves have a rip-tab to make them easy to put on. And it's just as easy to take them off thanks to the two fabric pieces on the middle fingers (there's an arrow so you can spot them easily!)
