How waterproof is it?
The waterproofing capacity of a fabric is measured in terms of a water column in mm (ISO 811 standard). The higher the number, the better the protection. A fabric with a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm can therefore withstand showers lasting for around 3 hours: perfect for your little one’s adventures!
Is the jacket breathable?
Breathability is measured using the RET scale: the lower the score, the better. Scale: <6 = extremely breathable, <12 = highly breathable, <20 = breathable, >20 = not very breathable. With its RET12 and two front ventilation zips, this jacket effectively wicks away sweat from your child during their dynamic activities.
A resistant jacket?
This jacket incorporates a ripstop fabric, a reinforced weaving technique that prevents the spread of tears. Score: optimal resistance to rubbing, branches and active games. Your child can explore without restraint!
Does this jacket protect against the wind?
The waterproof coating applied to the inside of the fabric effectively blocks drafts. Your child stays snug and warm even in strong winds, whether this is while they’re on the move or during mountain breaks.
Any other technical information?
This jacket incorporates riptab adjustments at the cuffs for a customised fit. Its extra-long back protects your child, even when they’re sitting. Bonus: the attached pocket allows them to discreetly slide a pair of headphones through.
