    A strict protection standard

    Regulation (EU) 2016/425 is a regulation that applied to body protection equipment. This back protector has been tested for shock absorption using impact tests in accordance with the EN1621-2 level 1 standard.

    Liam Tourki, a rider for the French Freestyle Half Pipe team, approves of this back protector and wore it during the 2022 Beijing Olympics.

    Choosing the right size is essential for good protection.

    To get your protective base layer in the right size, here is a recommended size chart based on your chest measurement (height is given as a reference):

    Size S = 87 to 93 cm (between approximately 166 and 172 cm)
    Size M = 83 to 99 cm (between approximately 172 and 177 cm)
    Size L = 99 to 107 cm (between approximately 177 and 183 cm)

    The back protector is designed as part of a set with the protective shorts, which will be available soon, as well as the rest of the set. It has a practical strap to attach the back protector to the belt loops on the shorts or trousers so that it doesn't ride up your back when you move.

    Precautions for use

    Remember not to leave your back protector in the car overnight or in a cold environment before wearing it. The protective material reacts to the cold and hardens in prolonged conditions. Simple body heat or the warmth of a heated room is enough to return it to its flexible state.
