Are they warm enough for winter?
The leather material and large volume provide effective insulation from the cold.
First tested in the laboratory and then in the field with a variety of users, the comfort temperature of our boots varies from -10°C when static to -19°C on the move
Do they protect your feet in all conditions?
Designed with leather and a waterproof, breathable membrane placed on the inside of the fabric, they keep your feet warm and dry. The midsole and mid-height upper with synthetic lining provide insulation and protect you from the cold and snow
Are they 100% waterproof?
We made sure that your shoes are waterproof thanks to tests carried out in the lab, simulating half immersed feet in water, use and ageing on the pitch
What is thermal comfort?
The thermal comfort of your boot keeps your feet warm and dry while maintaining air circulation to prevent build up of moisture. Designed for frequent use, their waterproof membranes remove moisture while preventing water from entering
Grip or traction? The differences
For grip, think of the crampons on the boots as claws that grip the ground when climbing.
For traction, the grooves under the soles act like car tyres, keeping you stable on slippery ground! With these boots, you can tackle winter terrain like a pro!
What does SnowContact technology offer?
The combination of non-slip components and the specific design of the studs ensure good grip and traction on snow. The studs are positioned and precisely designed to grip the snow and evacuate water. However, for use on ice, add non-slip grips
Is foot support essential?
Good support from the shoe is essential for your comfort and performance when snow hiking. It stabilises your steps both when climbing and descending, and keeps you warm, thereby reducing fatigue and preserving energy on long mountain excursions
How durable are they?
To ensure your full satisfaction, our product engineers put our products through a series of laboratory tests. Among them: Durability of eyelets and straps, quality of gluing, toxicology safety, UV resistance, durability of the sole and upper, and accelerated ageing
Why choose a leather shoe?
Leather is ultra-comfortable, durable and flexible. It is waterproof, breathable and naturally thermo-regulating. A combination of warmth in winter and coolness in mid-season. To look after them, remember to gently brush them regularly so that they last as long as possible
What to wear for a hike in the snow
To equip yourself for winter, we recommend choosing socks that are:
- Warm: merino wool,
- Breathable: depending on the intensity of your activity to reduce humidity,
- High or Mid: depending on the height of the upper
How to preserve the waterproofing
Imagine your waterproof boots like a shield against water. Its water repellent properties make it waterproof, breathable and lightweight. However, this power needs to be refreshed to remain effective. All you need to do to refresh the material and keep it ready for bad weather is to give it a quick spray
How do I dry the inside of my boots?
To effectively dry the inside of your damp boots, remove the insole, use newspaper to absorb moisture and change it regularly. Avoid direct heat sources which might damage the material and dry them in a warm, dry and ventilated place
