Our team of hiking enthusiasts designed these boots for your occasional walks on flatland, in the forest or on the coast in dry weather.
This lightweight boot benefits from accurate lacing that gives you comfort and support on all types of slightly uneven terrain.

TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS
Strength & durability
Laboratory tests were conducted to test the following elements: tearing eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion resistance of outsole and upper components, accelerated ageing.
These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking shoes.
Comfort
Our country walking boots promise one thing and that’s heightened comfort for the wearer; to this end, we have included different ingredients in this boot to take care of your feet such as the EVA foam insole (flexible thermoplastic) and the heel pad in the same material.
We have also made the insole removable for greater hygiene (washing possible).
Resistant soles for walking trails
The sole’s design is the result of long research carried out in our labs. It is composed of a specific rubber formula which optimises grip and traction. We are always looking for the best solution to progress on loose or mineral (forest or coastal) walking trails.
When used on roads, this can lead to the premature wear of your boots and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for high mountain walking.
What socks should you wear with the Quechua NH100 MID boots?
These shoes are slightly breathable but not enough to wick away all humidity created by your perspiration. Preferably use the Hike 50 Mid socks: they contain moisture-absorbing cotton and have a reverse terry-knit construction under the sock that wicks moisture away from your foot. They are also high enough to protect your ankle from the shoe. It is an excellent combination to reduce the chance of blisters.

Storage tips
We recommend you store your boots in a dry, dark and, if possible, ventilated place away from any heat source.

Not recommended in rain or on tarmac.

Test product
Our Quechua global design centre is based at the foot of Mont Blanc in Haute-Savoie (FRANCE). This location makes it a real meeting place for our design teams and outdoor sports enthusiasts. Our products are not only tested in our laboratories but also on different terrains, in Haute-Savoie for mountain use, and also on the coast and in forests worldwide.
