How do we design our products?

Our design team developed these 540 TRAXIUM shin pads by observing footballers on the pitch as they trained or played matches, and by listening to their feedback.



We've responded to all of the fit, support, weight and perspiration wicking issues footballers experience.



These shin pads have been tested in the lab and on football pitches.



They meet the EN 13061 European Standard for shock absorption and level of protection.

An even more secure fit

Because you need a stable shin pad to properly protect all round your leg, our design team has opted to use a stretchy, padded sleeve with an adjustable strap. This strap helps keep everything in its proper place.

The 540 Traxium's asymmetric, flexible design

This shin pad has been designed with a specific fit for each leg. It is also flexible to make it a snugger fit.

Moisture management

Do you sweat a lot during matches and find it makes your shin pads slip down? We've created a compact foam with a herringbone pattern to better let perspiration escape.
