How do I use the anti-fog marker?
Goggles must be dry before application.
1) Gently apply the marker to the inside of the lenses, then recap after use
2) Leave on for at least 1 minute
3) Dip the goggles in the water once and swim
To ensure fog-free swimming, we recommend reapplying the marker before each session.
How does anti-fogging work?
Over time, the anti-fog coating loses its effectiveness because it has lost its ability to form a film of water on the surface of the lenses that protects you from fogging. The fog is no longer absorbed by the film of water, so it settles on the lenses.
Applying the marker will deposit hydrophilic molecules that will cling to the surface of the glass. The water film forms again when you soak your glasses in water: you are protected from condensation.
Precautions
Avoid soaking your goggles many times in water (you risk losing the benefits of the anti-fog marker).
If your goggles are too polluted (perspiration, make-up, sun cream, salt, etc.), the marker will not be effective. We recommend that you clean the inside of the goggles with a little water and liquid soap. Gently rub the surface with your finger, then rinse and leave to air dry.
