A cut chosen for the freedom of movement it offers
This fleece jacket has a loose cut for greater freedom of movement.
For greater protection from the cold, we recommend wearing a technical base layer underneath. Sweatshirt designed to be worn under our windproof/waterproof jackets.

How does the material provide insulation from the cold?
We carry out 2 types of thermal testing: fleece material and thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber.
These tests reproduce the mountain conditions (wind, humidity, temperature) that you might encounter. They allow us to validate our design and adjust the thermal insulation.
How is warmth measured?
2 types of tests are carried out to measure the warmth level of our fleeces:
- a material test
- a test on a thermal dummy in a thermal chamber. Here, we reproduce the temperature, wind (5 km/h) and humidity conditions you’re likely to encounter in the mountains during a 5 km/hr walk
These tests are used to validate our design choices, and everything is then validated by our testers out in the field.
A breathable fleece jacket?
When hiking or during other outdoor activities, it’s perfectly normal to perspire. To prevent your fleece jacket from turning into a sauna, we’ve designed it using a breathable fabric that wicks away moisture from the body. We’ve also added a zip collar for better ventilation.
A handy pocket
Its large kangaroo pocket allows you to slide in your hands if you’re looking for a bit of warmth. It will also hold gloves or a hat.
