    Adjustment system: the salopettes fit the child for two seasons

    The salopettes 'grow' with your child. The three sizes available are suitable for children aged 1 to 5: 12-18 months, 24 months-3 years and 3-5 years. The elasticated leg bottoms, which sit over the boots, allow you to adjust the length without your child stepping on their trousers.

    How should you dress babies and children to keep them warm in winter and on ski slopes?

    To make sure they stay warm and dry, we recommend using the 3-technical-layer rule:
    - Layer 1 or a second skin, to stay dry.
    - Layer 2 or an insulating layer, to keep the heat in.

    - Layer 3 or a protective layer to protect against the elements.

    How can I stop snow from getting in my après-ski?

    Pull the elastic at the bottom of the ski trousers over the top of the boot. This technique prevents snow and draughts from getting in and keeps their feet warm and dry.

    How is the waterproofing capacity of the material of these ski trousers tested?

    A material’s waterproofing capacity (achieved through coating or membrane) is measured in Schmerbers or mm H₂O (pressure exerted by a water column). The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric is. This model, with taped seams, is waterproof to 15,000 mm H₂O (Schmerbers): the pressure exerted by a 5-metre column of water.

    It is best to store on a hanger and avoid creases that could damage the fabric. Dry thoroughly before storing in a dry and well-ventilated place.
