To what extent is this jacket waterproof?

20,000mm (Decathlon standard)
The Decathlon standard is derived from the JIS standard.
A column is filled with water by constantly applying a gradually increasing pressure of 100kPa/min.
The test ends when three drops appear on the other side of the fabric sample, or when it bursts.
To what extent is this jacket breathable?
The JIS L 1099 B1 test measures the water vapour that passes through the fabric in 24h, in grams per sqm. The higher this value is, the more breathable the fabric. A performance rating of 15,000g/sqm/24h, corresponding to a highly breathable fabric, is ideal for walking in the mountains.
Is it lightweight?
Weighing only 365g and made of a 3-layer fabric (size L), it won’t weigh you down, whether in your bag or on your shoulders. A real ally when every gram counts in the mountains.
Care instructions
Machine wash at 30°C, on a very gentle cycle. Do not use bleach, do not iron, do not dry-clean and avoid the tumble dryer. To prolong its lifespan, store it in a ventilated, dry place away from sunlight.
