How did we improve the thermal insulation of this down jacket? |
We’ve used H-compartmented technology to prevent thermal bridges forming between the outer and inner components.
In addition, this down jacket has several insulating chambers strategically placed in areas likely to have air penetration:
- The neck
- The top of the hood
- The front zip
- The wrists |
What is the advantage of the H-seams? |
This padded jacket has partitioning between the inner and outer fabric. This creates a space filled with down that prevents the formation of thermal bridges. |
How have we increased the lifespan of this down jacket? |
This padded jacket has inserts made of more durable fabric on the wrists, shoulders and hood. The fabric of these inserts is 100% polyester at 96 g/m2 and 50 denier.
The main fabric made of 20 denier polyamide is reinforced to prevent the spread of tears.
However, it can always hook on something: you can repair this with one of our self-adhesive patches. |
What’s the composition of this down jacket? |
This padded jacket includes:
- Hood fastening
- Jacket hem tightening
- Two hand pockets
- Two chest pockets
- Two inner mesh pockets
- A storage bag |
What are the advantages of duck down and feather filling? |
This down jacket, filled with 90% down/10% feathers, has a fill power of 800 CUIN which gives it a range of qualities for trekking:
- Excellent warmth at minimal weight.
- Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers
- Ultra low weight: down is lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same degree of warmth.
- Ultra-compressibility. |
Is this down jacket water-repellent? |
The main fabric of this down jacket is water-repellent, but not waterproof. It allows drops of water to slide off the fabric which delays the penetration of water into the padded jacket while you get out of the rain.
The reinforced fabric in strategic areas (head, shoulders and wrists) is waterproof. |
What is the weight of the wadding? |
Weight of the filling:
XS: 161 g
S: 169 g
M: 177g
L: 189 g
XL: 201 g
2XL:216 g |
How do you wash a down jacket? |

2. Tumble dry on synthetic mode with 2 or 3 tennis balls, repeat 2 or 3 times until it is completely dry.
3. Once your down jacket is dry, you can use a water-repellency reactivating spray. |
