TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS
COMPONENT REPELLENCY
All Wedze gloves and mittens have a water-repellent treatment that means their fabric does not absorb water, but instead ensures it slides across the surface. As a result, the fabric does not become saturated with water. It remains light and warm. A fabric becomes water-repellent thanks to a treatment applied to its outer surface. To remain effective, this treatment must be renewed every 2 to 3 washes with specific products that are available in our stores.
WINDPROOFING
All Wedze gloves and mittens are windproof. Did you know that the wind makes you feel colder? At an outside temperature of 0°C and a wind speed of 20 km/h, the temperature will feel like -10°C. Windproof fabrics limit windchill and cold caused by the speed of the sport.
Membrane
The membrane is an extremely thin component applied to the inner surface of the mitten's outer fabric. This hydrophilic component prevents water from seeping in (snow, rain, etc.) while allowing the perspiration produced by the body to escape.
100% SEALED SEAMS
In addition to using a waterproof fabric, we have made these over-gloves even more watertight by taping the seams. Their adhesive, waterproof strips are affixed on all the seams of the product, inside the over-glove, to make it perfectly watertight and guarantee complete water-resistance.
ANTI-LOSS SYSTEM
An elastic drawstring that goes around the wrist can be used to take off your over-gloves on ski lifts without a risk of losing them.
