WHICH ATHLETES IS THIS FOR? |
ISO+ powder is designed for all athletes (triathletes, marathon runners, trail runners, etc.) for workouts lasting more than 3 hours, during training and in competition. Note that one dose of ISO+, or 38 g, must be diluted in 500 ml of water. We recommend that you drink one bottle per hour of exercise, but this is a general recommendation. Everyone knows how much they sweat and can therefore adapt their hydration accordingly. |
A PRODUCT DESIGNED FOR ENDURANCE WORKOUTS |
An isotonic drink contains the same amount of carbohydrates, sodium and water as your blood. This makes it easier for your body to absorb it and thus provides hydration. The ISO+drink also contains: - vitamins B3 and B6, which help fight muscle fatigue,
- vitamin C and selenium, which help protect your cells from oxidative stress (cramps),
- minerals to compensate for losses through sweat. |
TIP ON DOSING |
If the quantity of carbohydrates, sodium and water in your drink is greater than that contained in your blood, your drink is not isotonic but hypertonic won't hydrate as effectively as an isotonic drink. Conversely, when the ISO+ powder is too diluted, it is hypotonic and facilitates the absorption of water at the expense of nutrients. |
FOCUS ON THE NEW FORMULA |
Our new formula contains less than 50% sugars among the carbohydrates. We have also added 1 g of BCAA (branched amino acids) per 38 g of ISO+ with a 2:1 ration of L-leucine, L-valine and L-isoleucine. |
ISO AND ISO+, WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? |
• The ISO drink is suitable for workouts of between 1 and 3 hours. Therefore, we recommend using a dose of 38 g in 500 ml of water.
• ISO+ is suitable for workouts lasting 3 hours or more. We recommend taking 60 g of carbohydrates per hour of exercise, i.e. a dose of ISO+ in addition to a bar or gel. |
