Of course! At decathlon.com.gr you will find complete solutions and a full range of leashes, fins, and specialized SUP spare parts designed to offer you maximum safety, stability, and easy repairs. In our collection, you will find replacement SUP fins of various types, which are extremely easy to install without the use of tools and are essential for keeping your board tracking straight and stable in the water. At the same time, for your safety, you will find durable, coiled leashes that do not drag in the water and do not get in your way while paddling. The range also includes all the necessary accessories for the maintenance and immediate repair of your board, such as high-pressure valves, valve wrenches, PVC glues, and patches, ensuring that you will always be ready for action. Finally, to be fully prepared for any scenario, combine your spare parts with a high-pressure SUP pump for quick inflation and let's hit the water!

The fin is the "rudder" of your board. If it is damaged or lost, you will immediately see a difference in stability, steering, and the effort you put in to keep your course. The fin mainly needs replacement when it shows visible signs of wear, such as deep cracks, permanent bending, or broken edges after impacts with rocks or in shallow waters. Also, if the attachment system (slide-in or US box) is worn and the fin does not lock firmly but wobbles inside the slot, there is a high risk of losing it while paddling. Of course, replacing or upgrading is also ideal when you want to change your board's behavior: a new touring fin will improve straight-line tracking over long distances, while a shorter fin will help you avoid obstacles in shallow waters or rivers without getting unnecessarily tired.

Decathlon's SUP spare parts are designed based on the most common market standards, but their compatibility depends on the specific component you want to replace. Some accessories are 100% universal and fit any board on the market, such as safety leashes that clip onto any classic D-ring, as well as repair kits (glues and PVC patches) suitable for all inflatable drop-stitch boards. Regarding fins, compatibility depends on your board's slot: slide-in fins fit all classic sliding pin systems, while US Box fins are compatible with the global standard screw system. However, for components like high-pressure valves, it is best to always check the specifications in the product description, as the thread may vary slightly from model to model.

For your safety in the sea, the leash is the ultimate accessory that keeps you always connected to your board, preventing it from being carried away by the wind, currents, or waves if you fall into the water. The ideal choice for the sea is a coiled leash. This leash resembles a spiral cable and remains gathered on the board while you paddle, preventing the leash from dragging in the water and getting tangled in seaweed or rocks. For maximum comfort, prefer a leash with a soft, padded neoprene strap that fastens to your ankle or below the knee so you don't step on it by mistake. Also make sure it features an integrated stainless steel swivel, so it rotates freely and does not get tangled around your legs, ensuring a safe and hassle-free ride. To be 100% safe on your every ride, combine your leash with a lightweight SUP life jacket / buoyancy aid (50N) that offers buoyancy without restricting your movements!

The number and arrangement of fins on the bottom of the board largely determine its behavior in the water, directly affecting your SUP's tracking, stability, and maneuverability. A single center fin design is the most common choice for flat water, touring, and long distances. It minimizes drag with the water, allowing the board to glide faster and maintain an extremely stable, straight line without requiring you to constantly switch paddling sides. On the other hand, a three-fin setup offers superior stability, maneuvering, and grip on turns, especially in choppy water or waves. Although three fins create slightly more straight-line drag compared to a single one, they are the ideal solution for beginners looking for maximum balance as well as for those who want a more versatile board.

The spare part that needs replacement most frequently on a SUP board is the fin, closely followed by the safety leash. The fin is by far the most exposed component of your gear. Because it protrudes beneath the board, it is highly vulnerable to collisions with rocks, stones, or shallow waters when approaching the beach, which easily cracks or breaks it. At the same time, due to frequent mounting or negligent securing, it is very common to lose it in the water or during transport. On the other hand, the leash, though not easily lost, undergoes significant wear and tear from continuous exposure to the sun (UV radiation), salt, and sand. As a result, the urethane cord loses its elasticity and the Velcro no longer holds securely—making its preemptive replacement essential for your personal safety. If you want to protect your accessories from wear and tear, choose a specialized SUP carry bag / backpack to protect against the sun and scratches!
