Durability
Main fabric 600 denier polyester, double stitched, numerous bartacks.
The component's waterproof properties
With waterproofing of 2000 mm, the Supertrack 300 jacket offers an extremely high level of waterproofing. We measure a fabric's resistance to a water column, in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure withstood by the fabric, the more waterproof it is. Components scoring 2000 mm can resist the pressure from 2000 mm of water (which is equivalent to a rain shower lasting 2 hours).
Garment waterproof properties
The Supertrack 300 jacket has passed a shower test under 100 liters of water/sqm/hour for 3 hours. The test replicates the weather conditions of small rain / rain / storms / thunderstorms.
Water-repellent
A fabric is water-repellent when water slides off its surface without seeping in. As a result, the fabric does not soak up water and remains light, breathable and warm. Water repellency is achieved through a treatment applied to the fabric's exterior. This treatment needs reapplying throughout the lifespan of the garment (we recommend it with every wash). Water-repellent treatment products are available in our stores. Solognac waterproof jackets are water-repellent-treated.
Pockets
All pockets are waterproof. 2 lower pockets, 1 waterproof chest pocket, 1 game bag, 1 inside license pocket.
A score to compare the environmental impact of products
The environmental impact of the product is calculated over its entire lifecycle and with different indicators. An overall score (ABCDE) is attributed to help you easily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type with one another (T-shirts, pants, backpacks, etc.).
Decathlon chose to apply this voluntary environmental labeling system.
