Taking care of the leather

The Meindl Himalaya boots are made of Nubuck leather and a lining with a Gore-Tex membrane. It is essential to take proper care of the leather and to avoid damaging the membrane to keep the boots watertight. First, wash your boots with a soft sponge. Leave them to dry away from any sources of heat, like radiators or fireplaces. Finally, work a waterproofing spray into the leather.

Memory Foam System

With their Memory Foam System (MFS), these boots adapt to your feet perfectly. The upper is padded with a special combination of foams: Depending on your body temperature, the foam changes shape and precisely matches the morphology of your foot.
