Directions for use
Place the ski or snowboard on the edge. Set the tool to the grinding angle you want (90° to 85°) and run the grinder over several times, pulling towards you.You don’t need to press down too hard on the file, but you must apply a constant, uniform pressure.
How to choose your angles?
On the thinner side : the sharper the angle, the more traction you gain and the quicker you enter the turn. This will mean putting a little more pressure on your legs to keep your skis in the curve. Also make sure you “drop the edges”, i.e. sharpen the edge on the base side at a very shallow angle:reducing the contact between the steel edge and the snow will improve glide, make it easier to initiate the turn and avoid edge errors.
