What is glutamine?
Glutamine is a non-essential amino acid, meaning the body can synthesize it on its own. It is the most abundant amino acid in muscle tissues.
What is it used for?
Glutamine plays a role in protein anabolism and the secretion of growth hormone. It helps regulate cell hydration, aids in recovery, and contributes to reducing fatigue. Additionally, glutamine supports immune protection.
When should you take your glutamine?
Mix 1 scoop (5 g) in 100-150 mL of water. Consume it during or after your workout. Glutamine can also be taken before bedtime.
Glutamine can also be mixed with protein powder, BCAA, fruit juice or smoothies.
