    This limited-edition fleece was created to celebrate Decathlon’s 50th anniversary. A symbolic design that pays tribute to our history, our teams and all the athletes who have supported us since 1976. An anniversary edition marking half a century of shared sporting spirit and passion.

    A fit providing optimal freedom of movement

    This fleece has a loose fit for greater freedom of movement.
    For greater protection from the cold, we recommend wearing a technical base layer underneath. Sweatshirt designed to be worn under our windproof/waterproof jackets.

    How does the material provide insulation from the cold?

    We carry out two types of thermal testing: fleece material and thermal manikin in a thermal chamber.
    These tests reproduce the mountain conditions (wind, humidity, temperature) that you may encounter. They allow us to check our designs and adjust the thermal insulation.

    How is warmth measured?

    Two tests measure the warmth of our fleece jackets: a fabric test and a thermal manikin test in a climate-controlled chamber (temperature, wind speed of 5km/h, moisture, walking at 5km/h). These tests validate our design choices, also taking into account the input from field testers.

    A long, high-rise zip

    The high-rise zip efficiently protects your neck and lower face from the cold. Extending up to the chin, it minimises draughts and enhances the feeling of warmth, ensuring optimal comfort on cold days.
