What can you do to ensure that your 1L soft filter water bottle is working properly?
Before using it for the first time, rinse the bottle, cap and filter three times with drinkable water.
Choose the best fresh water source available (such as non-stagnant lakes, moving bodies of water, springs, etc.)
Make sure that you don’t get the stopper or cap dirty, or ingest unfiltered water that drips down your bottle while drinking.
How do you clean the filter after use?
We recommend that, after using the water bottle, you use the backwashing kit supplied to remove any impurities.
The backwashing involves passing clean water against the current through the filter to remove impurities (particles, etc.). It prevents soiling, restores water flow and prolongs the lifespan of your water filter.
