Fleece component: insulation thanks to air
The mission of the fleece component is to trap air thanks to the volume created by its texture (and the brushing of the knit).
This air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm.
How is warmth measured?
This fleece jacket has been subject to thermal tests on its fleece fabric and in a climate chamber with a mannequin. These tests imitate the mountain conditions to validate our design choices.
What is a RET index?
The breathability of a fabric is measured by its evaporative resistance RET (ISO 11092 standard): the lower it is, the more breathable the fabric. Examples: RET< 9 (very breathable), 9 < RET < 12 (breathable), RET > 20 (low breathability).
This fleece displays a factor of 4.
Optimal freedom of movement
The oversized fit offers excellent freedom of movement. Loose-fitted and comfortable, it allows you to move easily without any restrictions, whether in everyday life or during sports activities, whilst ensuring maximum comfort.
How you should care for this fleece
For maintaining your fleece, place it in the machine at 30°C on a synthetic cycle, inside out and with the pockets closed. Limit the spin cycle to 1,000rpm to avoid damaging it. Tumble dry is not recommended to preserve the fabric quality.
