The cut of the fleece jacket

This fleece jacket has a fitted cut, without being too close to the body. We recommend you wear a technical undergarment just underneath, in direct contact with the skin, to be better protected from the cold. It has also been designed to be worn just underneath our windproof/waterproof jackets like the women’s MH100.

How is warmth measured?

This fleece jacket has been subject to thermal tests on its fleece fabric and in a climate chamber with a mannequin. These tests imitate the mountain conditions to validate our design choices.

How does the fabric provide insulation from the cold?

The fleece material is designed to trap air in the space formed by its texture (qualified as “brushed fleece” when it is made of pile fabric); This air keeps the body warm thanks to its natural insulating properties.

How you should care for this fleece

For maintaining your fleece, place it in the machine at 30°C on a synthetic cycle, inside out and with the pockets closed. Limit the spin cycle to 1,000rpm to avoid damaging it. Tumble dry is not recommended to preserve the fabric quality.
