    How is the warmth provided by the Sprint III gloves measured?

    The Sprint III gloves were tested on a thermal mannequin in the laboratory before being used by 23 testers in real-world conditions exposed to temperatures ranging from 5°C to -5°C with a wind speed of 10 km/h. These tests confirmed a comfort temperature of 5°C (hands nice and warm) and a lower limit temperature of -1°C (hands cold but still functional, with no numbness).

    How is the waterproofing of Sprint III gloves tested?

    Waterproofness is measured in accordance with ISO 811, which involves applying water pressure to the fabric until it penetrates. The membrane in the Sprint III glove has resistance to a water column pressure of 10,000 mm, even after five washes, to keep you dry in snow or persistent rain.

    Are these gloves suitable for mountaineering?

    These gloves are ideal for your most demanding climbs. The 100% full-grain leather palm provides precision grip and exceptional resistance. The pre-shaped fingers ensure a high degree of dexterity: tested with crampons, they ensure smooth handling, even in a hurry and in freezing conditions.

    Are these gloves easy to use?

    The safety strap keeps the gloves secured to the wrists during technical manoeuvres. The adjustable rip-tab fastening and the buckles ensure good transport organisation, even at the bottom of the bag.

    What is Hdry® technology?

    HDry® technology repels water and snow right from the first layers to prevent any seepage and keep your hands dry. Unlike conventional membranes, this technology is incorporated closer to the outer edge, which reduces moisture absorption and speeds up drying. It also wicks away perspiration to prevent excess warmth building up inside, thereby offering a good balance between waterproofing and breathability.
