    Where was the Woma ice axe manufactured?

    This ice axe was developed and manufactured in France. It is produced in our factory, located in the Chamonix valley, literally at the foot of Mont Blanc. This means we control 100% of the product's manufacture, from design to distribution.

    What is the size of the Woma ice axe?

    This ice axe is 46 cm long, offering the ideal compromise between compactness and manoeuvrability. The ice axe can easily be slipped into your backpack.

    What are the features of the blade?

    - Steel banana-shaped blade, highly effective on hard snow and facilitates anchoring/unanchoring
    - Laser machining produces a fine, sharp tip for high precision.
    - The blade has an anti-corrosion treatment.

    What are the features of the adze?

    The Woma's adze is compact and ultra-lightweight. Its laser machining and anti-rust treatment (by cataphoresis) ensure optimal performance on ice.

    What are the advantages of the spike on this ice axe?

    - Removable spike that can be placed anywhere on the shaft, allowing the ice axe to be used in traction mode.
    - It can be removed from the ice axe (a tool is required and is not supplied)

    How was the shaft of the Woma ice axe designed?

    Rinse the blade if necessary and store the ice axe in a dry place, away from UV rays and corrosive products.

    This ice axe is not suitable for dry-tooling.
