    What is the hood on this vest used for on an outing while skiing?

    The hood can be positioned like a cushion around the back of the neck to prevent draughts between the ski helmet and the jacket collar. During a break, when you take off your ski helmet, it can keep your head warm.

    How do you wear this vest?

    You can wear it over a thermal base layer to add an extra layer of warmth, or over a close-fitting second layer (e.g.: (the Seamless 900). The vest is just as easy to wear every day.

    How should you dress to stay warm and dry on the slopes?

    We recommend wearing three layers of technical clothing to stay warm on the ski slopes.

    - Layer 1 or a second skin, to stay dry.
    - Layer 2, or the insulating layer, to keep you warm.
    - Layer 3, or the protective layer, to protect against the elements.
