    What is the waterproof rating of this jacket?

    This jacket features a 3-layer (3L) construction with an innovative, solvent-free TPU lining. It offers a water-resistance rating of 20,000 mm Schmerbers, ensuring complete protection against severe weather conditions. All the seams are watertight to prevent water from getting in.
    This solvent-free process offers the same sealing performance and a reduced carbon footprint.

    How does the Ziprotec system work?

    At Decathlon, we make it easy to protect your children. Thanks to the Ziprotec system, the jacket and the back protector vest (DBCK 500 JR) form a single piece.
    It’s simple and effective:
    - An internal zip and fastening at the back secure the protective liner directly inside the jacket.
    - No oversights: If your child is wearing their jacket, they are automatically protected against impacts.
    - The back protector stays perfectly in place. It follows their movements without ever riding up.

    How should you dress your children to make sure they keep warm on the ski slopes?

    To make sure you stay warm and dry, we recommend using the 3-technical-layer rule:
    - Layer 1 or a second skin, to stay dry.
    - Layer 2 or an insulating layer, to keep the heat in.

    - Layer 3 or a protective layer to protect against the elements.

    How do you wash a ski jacket?

    To optimise the performance and durability of a ski jacket:
    - Machine wash at 30°C on a synthetic programme.

    - Turn the item inside out.
    - Use a small amount of detergent; no fabric softener.
    - Spin cycle 800-1,200 RPM.
    - Dry flat or in a tumble dryer.
    - Do not dry clean.
