What are the dimensions and weight of the Family tent?
The bedroom, when open, has the following spacious dimensions: a mattress 200 cm wide and 213 cm long. The height of the inner tent is 110 cm at the centre, and 87 cm on the sides. The mattress is 6 cm thick for optimal comfort.
Closed, the tent measures 210 x 115 x 30 cm.
The weight of the tent is 80 kg.

What are dynamic and static loads?
This tent needs a 80 kg load capacity, a so-called "dynamic" load, i.e. when the vehicle is moving. When the vehicle is stationary, the maximum static load capacity is much higher.
To offer peace of mind, when installed and stationary, your rooftop rack can support the rooftop tent, as well as the weight of people inside (250 kg max. load in the rooftop tent).

Caution: NEVER GET INTO THE TENT IF THE LADDER BARS ARE NOT LOCKED IN PLACE.

Do not use the ladder for anything other than its intended purpose.Do not leave children unsupervised.
Compatible with roof racks
Compatible with approved roof bars for a load greater than 80 kg (dynamic weight).
The minimum distance between the two rooftop bars must be 75 cm.
The usable width is 55 cm, the distance between the roof and the top of the rooftop bar must be greater than 7.5 cm and the width of the rooftop bar tube must be less than 9.5 cm. (see the diagrams in the product sheet photos).
Check that your roof bars and tent are properly fastened each time you use it.
Product contains:
- 1 tent, comprised of a bedroom and a flysheet to prevent any condensation. The bedroom has several pockets and a storage strap, as well as a modular divider with three different position options for extra privacy.
- 1 waterproof bag
- 1 built-in foam mattress with a textured surface, with a 30 kg/m3 density
- 2 aluminium ladders of 2.50 m maximum when unfolded, to ensure safety and stability.
- 1 fittings kit (4 pads + screws and washers)
- 3 outer shoe pockets + mesh
Restrictions on use & safety 2/2
Do not drive with the tent up.
Do not use any accessories other than those supplied with the tent.
Always set up the tent on a level surface so that it is stable.
Do not install on vehicles with a sunroof.
Do not pitch the tent facing the wind.
Do not modify the product.
Keep the instructions accessible.
How do you open the tent?
Watch the pitching tutorial video and/or read the instructions in the product bag carefully.
Remove the protective cover and then unclip the two side buckles.
Grab the left hand side ladder and use it to tilt the tent.
Adjust the ladder so that the tent is flat, and properly secure the bars. It is vitally important that they are locked in place.
Then unlock the right hand side ladder, and adjust it in the same way before being able to climb on it.
How do you close the tent?
To disassemble, fold and lock the right hand side ladder.
Use the left hand side ladder to fold up the tent, close the side buckles and put the cover back on.
Installing the tent on the rooftop bars
Plan around 15 min to install the tent on the rooftop bars. We recommend that at least four people install the tent on the rooftop bars.
It’s important to centre the tent properly, across both the length and the width of the vehicle.
