How do I inflate the mattress?
For your comfort and to make your mattress last longer, it is important to inflate it moderately. When you are sitting on the inflated mattress, you should feel the floor near your buttocks. When lying down, the air pressure is distributed for optimal comfort.
How do you deflate the mattress?
To deflate, press on the black tab inside the valve.
To completely deflate the mattress, push the black tab all the way in until it locks.
Which pump should I use to inflate the mattress?
Our mattress is compatible with our camping hand and foot pumps.
You can use a pump with built-in pressure gauge such as our 7 PSI Ultim Comfort pump. The recommended pressure level is approximately 0.3 to 0.5 PSI.
However, the Seconds valve on this mattress is not compatible with an electric pump.
Seconds Valve: patented technology for ultra-fast inflation.
The Seconds Valve technology uses the Venturi effect: air blown into the valve accelerates the airflow, similar to a reverse vacuum cleaner, transforming a folded mattress into an inflated, ready-to-use mattress in seconds.
To inflate: leave the black flap closed, insert the pump into the nozzle, then inflate.
To deflate: push the black flap down until it locks into place, then roll from the side opposite the valve to force the air out.
How do you repair your mattress?
An inflatable mattress isn't puncture-proof, but it is repairable!
A repair patch is included with your mattress, in its cover or its box, depending on the model. You can also use the repair kit (ref: 8841731).
