    Our aim was to make a shoe that wins.So, naturally, we turned to Thomas CARDIN (European Champion, winner of races such as Les Templiers, SaintéLyon, etc.) to help us create this model.This Kipsummit Race combines technical expertise with experience on the field to help you win your trail running races.

    Ultra dynamic shoes

    The Kipsummit Race is KIPRUN's first trail running SUPERSHOE featuring a carbon plate.It scored an impressive 78% in propulsion for its excellent responsiveness, powering you towards victory in any type of race.
    Designed for high performance on 'rolling' ultra trails such as the UTMB® or Western States Endurance Run 100®, this model's just as effective on shorter distances.In fact, Thomas used it on a 42 km-race, Le Marathon du Mont Blanc 2025, and came in third.

    Traction, grip or both?

    Featuring a Vibram® Megagrip Litebase with 'Traction Lug' technology, the KIPSUMMIT RACE model gives you optimal grip and traction on all terrain.

    Patented carbon plate

    We developed a carbon plate specifically designed to deliver exceptional energy return whilst guaranteeing great stability.

    Patented uppers

    Exclusively patented uppers:Light, breathable, yet extremely robust.
    With a sock construction to enhance comfort as you run (and avoid getting pebbles/debris in your shoes)

    Lace lock

    For real freedom of movement, you can slip your laces through an elastic band on the tongue of the shoe to prevent them from coming undone or catching.

    6mm Drop

    The sole gives you a drop of 6 mm (31.5/37.5 mm)

    As with every model we develop, we call on external testers to validate the product in terms of use and resistance...Several of them have easily exceeded 1,000 km... with one tester covering no less than 2,000 km and 100,000 D+... another 1,750 km, and yet another 1,400 km...

    Test product

    The Kipsummit Race model has undergone a series of use tests and long duration tests in the Alps, carried out by testers who are independent of Decathlon. These tests highlighted the qualities of these trail running SUPERSHOES (light weight, propulsion and cushioning) over time and distance... Some even made it past the 1,000 km mark!
