Air to insulate from the cold |
The fleece component is designed to capture air thanks to its unique texture and brushing of the knit. It provides exceptional insulation to keep your body warm. Tested in the laboratory, this fleece guarantees comfort in temperatures of between 7 and 10°C, without an additional jacket. |
How is heat measured? |
This fleece has undergone thermal tests on its fleece fabric and in a climate chamber with a thermal manikin. These tests, which imitate conditions in the mountains, help us to verify our design choices. |
A breathable fleece: why? |
Our fleece jacket, made from a breathable fabric, keeps you comfortable even if you are during activities that require a lot of effort. Thanks to its ability to wick away perspiration, it keeps you dry and comfortable during your outings. |
What is the RET index? |
The breathability of a fabric is measured by its evaporative resistance RET (ISO 11092 standard): the lower the RET, the more breathable the fabric. Examples: RET < 9 (very breathable), 9 < RET < 12 (breathable), RET > 20 (not very breathable).
This fleece has a RET rating of 3. |
Why elastane? |
To ensure that you feel as comfortable as possible on your hikes, it is essential that you have complete freedom of movement. That’s why we’ve added elastane to this fleece. You can enjoy unrivalled freedom of movement, so you can walk with complete peace of mind. |
A lightweight, practical jacket |
This fleece is practical, with two zip pockets and one zipped chest pocket. You can therefore store your belongings safely. It is also lightweight. You’ll forget you’re carrying it in your bag. |
Resistance tested? |
Our products undergo rigorous testing to guarantee their quality. We test their resistance to pilling, discolouration and repeated washing. Abrasion resistance is measured using the Martindale test, which subjects a fabric sample to repeated rubbing. |
How to look after your fleece? |
To wash your fleece without damaging it, select a programme with a maximum temperature of 30° and turn it inside out before putting it in the washing machine. Set the spin speed to a maximum of 1,000 rpm and avoid using the tumble dryer to protect the fabric. |
