The new EDR CF enriches our range of bikes designed for ENDURANCE, for regular to intensive rides whatever the terrain.It' a very versatile bike aimed at the widest possible range of cyclists looking for a carbon bike at an affordable price.
The geometry has been redesigned to offer a more relaxed position and greater comfort, without compromising on performance, which remains part of VAN RYSEL's DNA.
A CLOSER LOOK AT THE CARBON FRAME
"The carbon frame offers weight savings compared to an aluminium frame, greater rigidity and excellent dynamism.
All the cables are integrated into the headset for a more aesthetic finish.
We have dedicated storage space in the down tube to accommodate an optimised repair kit, supplied with the bike.
There are 8 inserts on the frame for attaching bottle cages and accessories.
The bare EDR CF frame weighs 1000g in size M.
REPAIR KIT INTEGRATED INTO THE BIKE FRAME
A repair kit is supplied with the bike and can be found in the designated space in the frame.
This kit contains:
- 1 TPU inner tube
- 2 tyre levers
- 1 multitool (8/6/5/4/3/2.5/2/T25/PH2 cross-head)
- 1 pump
The entire kit weighs only 260g.
100% CARBON FORK
The fork is 100% carbon for direct and precise handling.
The fork weighs 400 g.
The frame and fork clearance allows for tyres up to 38 mm.

DRIVE TRAIN MAINTENANCE TIPS
Please note that it is important to regularly service your drive train, especially if you ride in difficult conditions (wet and/or dirty roads).
Regular maintenance will help your drive train to last for longer.
The values below are average values given for information purposes only and vary depending on maintenance.
The average lifespan of a well-maintained chain is 5,000 km and for a cassette 10,000 to 12,000 km.

Breaking in the brake pads is essential when using a bike for the first time.
For optimal running-in, we recommend 20 to 30 braking actions without locking the wheel from 25 km/h.Also, be sure not to stop between braking actions to avoid ‘gluing’ the pads to your discs.

Care tips
We recommend avoiding high-pressure water jets when washing your bike to avoid damaging it.We recommend cleaning your bike after each ride, particularly after tackling especially muddy or dusty terrain. In addition, remember to check your tyre pressure and braking efficacy before each ride.
