What are the features of the MT900 10°C sleeping bag?
It has a hood that fits around your head using drawstrings and an anti-cold flap along the zip to prevent heat loss.
A YKK two-way zip with an anti-jam system ensures optimal ventilation.
An inside zip pocket allows you to store small items.
At the bottom of the bag, two loops allow it to be hung up to air or dry.
A perforated fabric storage bag is included.
What are recycled feathers?
Using recycled feathers involves using a mixture of down and feathers from products that cannot be reused. This limits the use of new resources by recycling existing materials that would otherwise be discarded. The quality of the filling is checked through lab tests to make sure it maintains its technical properties and keeps you warm.
What is comfort temperature?
We display the comfort temperatures that are determined by an independent lab (AITEX) on all our sleeping bags, in accordance with the international standard ISO 23537-1: 2022.
Comfort temperature is the minimum temperature at which an average person (female, 25 years old, 60 kg, 1.60 m) feels comfortable and not cold when they are in a relaxed position.
Choose your sleeping bag accordingly.
And what is the limit temperature rating?
This is the temperature at which an average person (male, 25 years old, 70 kg, 1.73 m) can sleep curled up without really feeling the cold. For your information, the extreme temperature indicates the limit at which a person can survive for six hours. This is a safety measure, not a comfort measure.
Which mattress should I use this sleeping bag with?
The protocol for measuring the thermal performance of a sleeping bag is to use a mattress with a thermal resistance corresponding to an R-value of 4.8.
If you use a less insulating mattress, the thermal performance of your sleeping bag will be reduced.
We therefore recommend that you use an insulating mattress for better thermal comfort.

What’s the resistance of the MT900 10°C sleeping bag material?
The outer fabric is 100% polyamide 20g/m2 in 10 denier and Ripstop 30 denier. This fabric can withstand 80,000 abrasion cycles.
Resistance is calculated using the Martindale test (Standard 12 947-2). This test involves rubbing the material of the bag against another material to determine the product's wear limits.
The inner lining is made from 100% polyamide 35 g/m2, 20 denier fabric.
How is the material used in this sleeping bag manufactured?
This product does not contain any intentionally-added PFAS treatments.
How do I avoid getting cold in my MT900 10°C sleeping bag?
Dress lightly (one layer is enough, ideally Merino wool clothing).
Cover your extremities (hat, gloves, socks, foot warmers, etc.).
Use a sleeping bag liner to gain a few degrees.
Do not wash your sleeping bag too often.
Choose an insulating mattress (R-value > 4.8).
Tip: contract your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat), but do it without doing any movements that could create a draught.
How to look after your MT900 10°C sleeping bag
Your sleeping bag should be washed from time to time, even if you use a sleeping bag liner.
Machine wash at 30°C, adding two or three clean tennis balls, use our special down detergent (ref.: 8817232) and select a gentle spin cycle.
To dry in a tumble dryer, reuse the tennis balls and run the dryer for two to three cycles until the bag is completely dry.
How to repair your MT900 10°C sleeping bag
When trekking, it's easy to snag your sleeping bag. We recommend using our self-adhesive patches (ref.: 8777140) to prevent any tears from getting bigger.
You can also visit your local Decathlon store for a workshop repair.
