How do I attach my backboard to the wall?

The backboard is secured using the 6 screws and wall plugs supplied. They are suitable for solid walls (brick, concrete, etc.), but we would advise you to consult DIY professionals no matter what. The type of attachment depends largely on the material your wall is made of.

Follow the instructions in the user guide carefully.

Please note that it is forbidden to hang from the hoop.

Is there a problem? We're here to help!

As with all our basketball hoops, we ensure that all spare parts for your product remain available for 10 years after it has reached the end of its life. A dedicated support website is also available online, where you’ll find all the manuals, videos and parts, as well as frequently asked questions and a support request form to put you in touch with trained technicians.

At what height should I install my backboard?

Here are the official hoop heights:
    - 2.60 m for children aged 7 to 12,
    - 3.05 m for adults and children aged 13 and up.

A measurement guide is included in your product’s instructions.

If you’d like to be able to adjust the height of your backboard, we offer a wall mounted bracket (ref 8496982), with an adjustment range of 45 cm – perfect for the whole family!

Use restrictions for clubs and institutions

Our Essential backboard has been designed for use in private homes. It does not meet the standards required for use as an official basketball basket in clubs or community settings.
