    Design details

    An automatic adjustment system for a perfect fit around the head every time:

    The 500 helmet is equipped with an automatic head circumference adjustment system.
    After choosing the right size (XS:47 to 52 cm or S:52 to 55 cm) and adjusting the chin strap during first use, children can put it on by themselves, as easily as a cap.
    Thanks to a system of elastic bands, a pad fits snugly against the back of the head to adjust the helmet perfectly to the child's head shape.

    Head size correspondence:

    XS = 47-52 cm
    S = 52-55 cm

    Technology:

    EPS liner to absorb shocks, covered with a protective ABS shell.
    This helmet offers good protection when cycling, thanks to its rear shell, which provides more coverage than the PLAY100.

    Complies with standard EN 1078:

    EN1078 is a European standard regarding testing methods and requirements for "cycling, skateboarding, and skating" helmets.

    This standard covers the following aspects:
    - construction, including field of vision
    - shock absorption properties
    - retention system features including the chinstrap
    - tightening devices
    - marking and information.

    Returns conditions for personal protective equipment:

    A helmet is an item of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
    Ensure this product is suitable for you (model / size / colour) before purchase.
    If this is not the case, you may return it under the following conditions: with the instructions, labels, and if applicable, original packaging.

    Helmet customisation:

    To help the children personalise their helmets, we have included ventilation holes that make it easy to thread through soft paper decorations.
    Important: only soft paper (maximum 100 g/m²) and light adhesive tape may be used for these DIY decorations.

    Read more

    Lightweight polystyrene is widely used in packaging to protect everyday products. But all too often, it is discarded after a single use. To change that, we recycle it and give it a new life in our products. Instead of relying on new fossil resources, we recover polystyrene waste. Once sorted and ground, it is transformed into a new material, ready to be used in manufacturing. The result: a recycled material that retains its performance, with at least 43% fewer CO2eq emissions compared to virgin polystyrene.
