How to choose the right size
With hiking socks, it is advisable to choose a pair of boots one size larger than your usual size to allow room for your toes and to avoid rubbing. Try on your boots at the end of the day, when the foot is a slightly swollen.
What is a SnowContact sole?
Our snow hiking soles validate a series of tests conducted in France, in one of our independent laboratories. The aim? To measure their grip on ice. Thanks to its non-slip rubber and an optimised 3D design, they provide excellent, approved grip, in the lab and snow.

Why choose a leather shoe?
Leather is ultra-comfortable, durable and flexible. It is waterproof, breathable and naturally thermo-regulating. A combination of warmth in winter and coolness in mid-season. For their care, remember to gently brush them regularly so that they last as long as possible.
Water-repellent or waterproof?
Water-repellency means that the water slides over the surface of the fabric without it penetrating: this is an effective first barrier against dampness. The waterproofing properties fully prevent any water from entering, by means of a membrane. Together, they keep your feet drier for longer.
What type of waterproofing?
Our laboratory tests guarantee one-star waterproofing capacity: your feet remain dry for more than a 1.5-hour walk in snow or in puddles. Ideal for winter hikes!
What kind of membrane?
The boot is fitted with a waterproof and breathable membrane between the lining and the outer fabric. It acts as a filter: water doesn’t get in, but water vapour escapes.
How can I maintain the waterproofing?
After several uses and washes, the water-repellent treatment can start to wear out. To reactivate it: clean your boots and then lightly pass over a hair dryer or use a suitable re-waterproofing spray.
What about breathability?
Because feet kept dry are also feet that perspire, the inner foot lining helps to wick away moisture. This prevents the feeling of cold from perspiration.
How to put on your boots
To stay warm, follow the three-layer rule: a breathable sock, a warm layer (terrycloth sock for example), and waterproof or windproof trousers. That’s all you need for setting off on adventure, even in the snow!
How to clean your boots
Clean with lukewarm water and a soft brush, without harsh soap. Do not machine-wash. Leave to air dry, away from direct heat sources to avoid altering the fabric or the membrane.
