Picking a right or left hand glove

If you throw with your right hand, wear a glove on your left hand. This would mean you need a glove for right-hand throwers. If you throw with your left hand, wear a glove on your right hand. This would mean you need a glove for left hand throwers.

The size of your glove will depend on your position on the field and your playing style

How to properly catch a ball

Try to catch the ball in the glove's web between your thumb and index finger. The ball could injure you if caught in the palm of your glove. When training, always try to catch the ball in the web so that you can catch it properly when it counts.
