A compact and adjustable single lanyard for securing yourself at the anchor while climbing or mountaineering:
- adjustable length from 15 to 95 cm,
- lanyard made from 9.0 mm dynamic rope to reduce the force transmitted to the user in the event of a short fall (1),
- connection loop made from sewn high-density polyethylene (HDPE) webbing (Petzl patent), allowing the lanyard to be attached to the harness with a compact cow’s hitch, taking up less space on the belay loop and providing better visibility during anchor manoeuvres.
Ease of use:
- smooth, precise length adjustment thanks to the ergonomic design of the ADJUST rope clamp,
- easy clipping and unclipping, thanks to the TANGA rubber keeper that holds the carabiner in the correct position on the ADJUST rope clamp,
- to be used with a locking carabiner such as the Sm’D TWIST-LOCK (not included),
- hole in the ADJUST rope clamp for threading a rope through, making it easier to release under load.
Use below an anchor point:
The positioning lanyards do not feature an energy absorber. Therefore, these lanyards must only be used if the fall risk equates to a fall factor of less than 1.
