This kit consists of a Cressi Zen MC11 DIN 300 bar regulator and a Zen octopus system with a 1 m yellow hose. (direct system hose and pressure gauge not supplied)
Functionalities of the 1st stage:
Performance: Balanced diaphragm and Pressure Sync technology for optimal breathing comfort and a stable average pressure.
Ergonomic design: T-shaped layout (2 HP ports, 4 MP ports) to facilitate hose routing; compact, lightweight design (422 g).
Resistance: Scratch-resistant nickel coating
Use: Ideal for recreational diving, certified for temperate waters ( >10°C°)
Functionalities of the 2nd stage:
Flow control: Adjustable Venturi flap (dive/pre-dive mode) to maximise flow and avoid continuous flow on the surface.
Ergonomic design: Oversized drain button, easy to locate and operate, even when wearing gloves.
Lightweight: Lightweight design, weighing just 149 g (without the hose)
Functionalities of the octopus system
Reliability: Robust downstream valve system with built-in safety device. The radial openings prevent continuous flow against the current.
Control: Adjustable Venturi and oversized purge button for easy use in emergencies.
Maintenance: Simplified design for dismantling without special tools.
Use: EN 250A certified for temperate and cold water ( >4°C)
Maintenance after each dive
Make sure you put the dust cap on properly.
Soak the regulator in a tray of fresh water.
DANGER: If you use a hosepipe, do not use a pressure jet to clean the 2nd stage. The pressure of the jet could damage the membrane and/or the internal valve.
Wipe the regulator dry.
Do not expose your regulator to full sunlight for a lengthy period.
Storage and maintenance:
Store your regulator in a clean environment away from light and at a moderate temperature.
Do not store it near a source of heat or in a room that may contain chemical vapours like chlorine, ozone, etc. (e.g. a swimming pool machine room).
Never store the regulator on top of a cylinder/tank
DANGER: Never use solvents or hydrocarbon-based products to clean or lubricate your regulator. Never use spray cans.
Servicing and inspections
Cressi advises you to service your regulator every two years and to make a visual inspection at least once a year. These two inspections must be made in a Cressi certified workshop. A service is also recommended after a particularly intensive season (more than 100 dives), or after a long period of inactivity. Please visit our website.
