This kit consists of a Helix Pro regulator with balanced first and second stages and a Helix Pro octopus system offering identical performances.
(direct system hose and pressure gauge not supplied)
Functionalities of the 1st stage:
Performance: Balanced diaphragm and over-balanced mechanism for fluid, constant breathing. T-shaped body (2 HP ports, 4 MP ports) for optimal hose routing.
Protection: The ACD (Auto-Closure Device) system protects against water and impurities, coupled with a dry chamber for resistance to icing. Anti-dust cap.
Compact Design: Compact and lightweight (525 g), ideal for travelling.
DIN connection (4,350 psi/300 bar max.)
Functionalities of the 2nd stage:
Breathability: The balanced system guarantees constant fluidity. Ergonomic Venturi lever that can be operated even with gloves and hydrostatic openings to prevent continuous flow in the current and reduce the priming effort by 20%.
Comfort and cooling: Orthodontic mouthpiece made of hypo-allergenic silicone to limit maxillary fatigue. Built-in heat exchanger to prevent icing.
Maintenance: The mouthpiece can be changed without tools thanks to a reusable collar.
Functionalities of the octopus system
Easy breathing: Balanced pneumatic mechanism (0.85 J/L) that is adjustable using an ergonomic Venturi flap that can be adjusted even when wearing gloves.
Safety and visibility: quick to find in an emergency, thanks to the luminescent yellow cover and 1-metre yellow hose.
Comfort and cooling: Orthodontic mouthpiece made of hypo-allergenic silicone to limit maxillary fatigue. Built-in heat exchanger to prevent icing and light weight of 186 g.
Nitrox performance and compatibility
Nitrox-compatible up to 40% (when new). Diving ventilation: 95 j/L (at 50 m, 50 bar, 62.5 L/min).
Maintenance after each dive
Make sure you put the dust cap on properly.
Soak the regulator in a tray of fresh water.
DANGER: If you use a hosepipe, do not use a pressure jet to clean the 2nd stage. The pressure of the jet could damage the membrane and/or the internal valve.
Wipe the regulator dry.
Do not expose your regulator to full sunlight for a lengthy period.
Storage and maintenance:
Store your regulator in a clean environment away from light and at a moderate temperature.
Do not store it near a source of heat or in a room that may contain chemical vapours like chlorine, ozone, etc. (e.g. a swimming pool machine room).
Never store the regulator on top of a cylinder/tank
DANGER: Never use solvents or hydrocarbon-based products to clean or lubricate your regulator. Never use spray cans.
Servicing and inspections
Aqualung advises you to service your regulator every two years and to make a visual inspection at least once a year.
These two inspections should be carried out by a Aqualung approved workshop
Your regulator should be serviced more frequently depending on the number of dives and conditions of use.
