In what way is this short tip special?

Unlike older tips where the tip was fixed, this short tip incorporates a removable tungsten tip that can be replaced by simply screwing it on. An innovation that now allows you to replace a worn tungsten tip without having to replace the entire tip.

Can the tip be installed by myself?

You can assemble it yourself, but you are solely responsible for its use and safety. The Decathlon Workshop offers a professional assembly service under code 8032079 for guaranteed, secure installation.
