How do I set up and take down my tent?
To ensure optimal installation, two people are needed to pitch the test, following the instructions. No tools are needed; full installation takes around 30 minutes.
At the end of the season, make sure you air out and dry all the components well before folding them up, in order to protect their lifespan.
How do you connect the modules of the Second Home tent?
Connect the sides to add modules and create the living space that suits your needs.
Connection is done through two zips (one above and one below), for easy installation in a few seconds, while it is fully waterproof.
You can add as many modules as you like, and lay it out according to your needs.
Is this tent windproof?
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity.
Well pitched with the guy ropes properly anchored, this tent remains habitable in a force 7 wind, measured at 60 km/h.
Is this tent waterproof?
To check that it is waterproof, the tent was placed for three hours under a 200L shower of water per hour, equivalent to a tropical shower of 200mm per hour.
The flysheet is made from 2,000mm Schmerber PU coated polyester and all seams are sealed with thermobonded tape.
How to care for your polycotton tent
As part of the tent is made of cotton, the canvas must be completely dry before storing it to prevent mold. It is also important to keep the fabric clean and to deal with stains as quickly as possible. It is advised to wipe away dust with a soft brush.
