Design
The use of Frameless technology on the Condor mask means that the lenses are close to the eyes, minimising internal volume while maintaining a wide field of vision.
Its nasal pouch is moulded with a variable thickness of silicone to make it comfortable and easy to compensate for.
How does the anti-fogging work?
A film is applied to the inside of the mask. This film prevents fogging in all situations, provided you follow a few simple instructions for use.
No pre-treatment required: You don’t need to do anything to the mask before using it for the first time (unlike those mentioned above). Simply rinse with water before wearing, avoiding touching the inside of the lenses with your fingers.
recommended maintenance
After each dive, we recommend rinsing the lenses with fresh water and drying them with a clean cloth to preserve the properties of the film.
How to choose the right mask size
You need to position your mask on your face without the strap, and press with your hands to make sure it’s firmly in place, blocking your breath.
If the mask "suctions” properly, and stays stuck to your face, it’s perfect and means that it is your size and will be watertight.
If it unsticks and falls off, that means that air is getting through, and so water will get in, so you’ll need to try another size or another mask.
Tempered glass lenses
Tempered glass is two to five times more durable than traditional glass. If it shatters, it breaks into small pieces, reducing the risk of a major accident.
It has the advantage of better scratch resistance compared to a polycarbonate lens.
Skirt
Black hypo-allergenic silicone skirt for comfort and seal.
The profile of the mask’s outer lip has been specifically designed to adapt to different face shapes, while reducing internal volume and increasing the field of vision. The inner part of the skirt has a very large contact surface, with specific continuous and curved sections that make the mask watertight and adaptable to many faces.
Equalisation
The mask is pressed against the face when descending. As you dive underwater, pressure is applied to the mask’s soft skirt, reducing the internal volume and pressing the mask against the face. This phenomenon, which can cause pain in the eyes, can be avoided by equalising the internal pressure of the mask and the external pressure exerted by the water. Simple breathe out gently through your nose.
Air is very valuable in under water sports, so this equalising effect must be kept to a minimum.
