What is this tool for?

The chain whip enables you to remove and reinstall cassettes with a 10, 11 or 12-tooth drive sprocket and 7 to 14-speed cassettes.
Use in conjunction with a cassette remover, an Allen key (8 mm) and its adapter.

User tip:

Preparation
Identify the number of teeth on the smallest sprocket, adjust the cassette remover accordingly, and check the direction of unscrewing (counterclockwise).

Positioning
Sit with the wheel between your legs.Place the chain whip on the smallest sprocket (outer side).Position the tools at 10:10 for maximum leverage.

Removal
Lock the cassette with the chain whip, then loosen with the cassette remover.
Tip: Use the weight of your shoulders to make the movement easier.
