How to inflate and position the floor of the kayak
Connect a pump (sold separately) by turning it a 1/4 turn into the valve and inflate the bottom to 5 PSI. Finish by screwing on the cap
Insert the floor into the kayak and strap it down at both ends. The floor must be positioned in such a way as to allow free access to the drain plugs located in the middle of the kayak
Inflate the side bladders to 3 PSI
Install the three stabilisers, except for river use if there is little water.
How to deflate and store the kayak
Rinse and leave the kayak to dry.
Deflate the kayak by pressing the pusher on each valve.
Roll, starting from the opposite side to the valves to remove the air.
Place the rolled-up kayak into the main compartment of the bag.
Tighten using the compression strap.
Close the zip on the bag
What about the comfort of an inflatable kayak?
Foam seats offer greater comfort for adults in the paddling position. No need to inflate the seats!
Position them on the floor of the kayak using the rip-tab areas under the seat and on the floor. Stow your luggage or equipment in the rear luggage compartment or attach it to the deck provided. The boat is now ready to be launched.
Regulations Canoe Kayak over 3.50m
Your canoe-kayak, whether rigid or inflatable, has at least two separate air chambers and is over 3.50 metres long. It is therefore certified for sea use by the manufacturer.
With this approval, you can sail up to 2 nautical miles (around 3 km) from a shelter, as long as you have the mandatory safety equipment on board.
