What does this repair kit contain?
This pack of 4 clear patches for textiles includes:
- 2 patches of 4 x 6 cm
- 2 round patches of 3 cm in diameter
What can you repair with these patches?
Hole in your tent? Ripped jacket? Damaged backpack? Our textile patches repair holes and tears of several centimetres on flat surfaces.
The ideal solution for your equipment (hi-tech jackets, padded jackets, trousers, duvet, backpacks, shoes).
How strong are these patches?
The patches resist 10 wash cycles at 30°C and remain watertight under 10,000 mm H2O (Schmerber). The powerful glue attaches to a multitude of materials with incredible hold.
The watertightness can vary depending on the component you apply to the patch.
How to apply the repair patches
1. Clean the punctured surface and dry.
2. Peel off the patch without touching the adhesive.
3. Press the patch down from the centre outwards.
4. That's it. Pro tip: leave on for a better hold.
Oversized patch? Trim it in a rounded shape, 2 cm around the problem area.
What tips can you use to make the patch last longer on your waterproof fabrics?
To ensure the patch adheres better to your waterproof products, we recommend applying it to the inner part where this is possible.
