How do you identify the leak?
To identify the leak, use a soapy water spray and watch for bubbles appearing at the leak site.
Once identified, clean and dry the area with a clean cloth.
You can circle the leak with a pen to avoid losing sight of it.
How do you use this kit?
Use the sandpaper only on “velvety” surfaces to remove the “hairs” and get a smooth surface. Do not try to smooth off other types of surfaces.
On a smooth surface, you can use the patch on its own
On a more “complex” area (joint, edge, seam), a trekking or self-inflating mattress, use the glue and the patch
Let the glue dry for 4 hours before applying the patch. Once the patch is on, you can re-inflate the mattress immediately
How do make the glue last longer?
You can store it in a cool, dry place, even in the fridge for optimal storage.
