TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The features of the adapter and mouthpiece prevent leaking. The membrane microfilter protects against 99.999999% of bacteria, 99.999% of parasites, 99.999% of microplastics, dirt, sediment and turbidity.
Complies with the US EPA and NSF P231 standards for drinking water for removing bacteria and parasites.
Note, when filling, the mouthpeace and the nozzle must remain dry to prevent contamination by unfiltered water and any risk of infection.
Secondary technical characteristics
Ultra-lightweight and packable, you can pick it up and use it as a filter straw, storage solution, compression system, or link it to other Peak series systems to meet the requirements of your adventure. The density of the filter membrane has been optimised according to the flow rate.
Materials and regulations
Our products and materials meet the food contact standards in force. They do not contain Bisphenol A (BPA) in accordance with the French regulations in force.
Care instructions for the filtration system
Test the product before each outing.
After use: unscrew the cap, rinse the bottle, lid and filter with drinking water, and allow to dry thoroughly. Remove the filter before putting the bottle into the dishwasher (the filter must never go into it). Never clean the internal fibres. If in doubt, change the filter.
For optimal flow, clean the Peak filter regularly with the syringe (backwash) provided (see the manual). Store in a cool, dry place after complete drying.
Prolonged storage and reactivation
In order to prevent the Peak filter from drying out or blocking prematurely, an optimal maintenance procedure for prolonged storage is included in the instructions. If water doesn’t pass through, or only passes through the filter with difficulty while it’s being reused, you can reactivate the filter. Immerse it in clean water for approximately 15 minutes to dissolve any dirt, rinse, and then dry. It should be back to its best.
